Need to go to bed....

Since school started, I have been so busy with projects, my mind never rest now. And all of us are in school now, we get up early, which sucks because I don't get to sleep in anymore.....I need to go to bed earlier, but I can't!!! I need my "me time"!!!! It is 3:10am and still writing a blog. And I have to get up at 6:30am......stupid.
It has been such a ride to go back to school, even thought with lots of projects, I do enjoy going to school and socialize with people. I made some friends already and it is always good way to have fun at school.
Fairen started her public pre-k at the end of August. And I had to pull her out from there this week, because we were not happy with the set up they had....they had 31 freaking kids in a class with one teacher who has a weight problem and walks with cane....she was such a sweet lady and all, but it is 4 year old class. What if something happen and she couldn't help them because of her mobility? And because of the size of the class, they didn't go outside to play at all, until everything get settle . Fairen was not happy about that. Last Fridays, she had a melt down and was not happy to go to school. She started to cry and kept saying she didn't want to go to school. She wanted to go back to her old preschool. That broke my heart seeing her crying so hard but still waved and blew kisses for me. She never had problem going to school at the old preschool, she loved it. I had to put her in public school because our financial situation, and it has been bugging me. I wanted to keep her in old school with all her friends, and I loved the school, too! So, I went to talk to the director at the old school and we got the scholarship for Fairen to go back to old school! People at this preschool is so wonderful, they love Fairen and they wanted her to come back, so they did everything they can do to help us. What a wonderful school. It was her first day back today, and everybody was so happy to see Fairen and made us feel so wonderful. I wish I can keep sending my kids to this school all the way to high school but it only goes up to kinder.....bummer.
So that was the drama of the summer. Other than that we are good, I just need to go to bed and get some sleep!!!

P.S. I will update some pictures of my projects later.....

Craig Ferguson

So my school started last night. And I already have a freaking project......! Because this is accelerated class and we only meet 12 times for this class, we will have a project every freaking class! and a quiz, I am so annoyed. This is exactly what I didn't want. I just wanted to learn how to make patterns and sew and etc...............but the life is not that easy, I have to do all the new student stuff all over again. I am learning to be patient again.....
Anyway, it is almost one in the morning, I am trying to finish my home work witch is half done, I am blogging and watching TV to escape from the reality. And my recent secret crash is Craig Ferguson!!! I know it is so weird and he is old and not cute but I find him charming. He is Scottish, of course, and has very sarcastic funny sense of humor! And I have thing for older men, with little gray hair and confident in their presence. I was 14 when I was in love with Richard Gere, so I am weird. But I am watching his show and giggling and dreaming to meet him in person, maybe we can go to pub and grab some drinks! He is kinda friend with Gerard Butler!! He is from Scotland! I must like him!!! Haaaaah, I need to go to Scotland and gaga over hot Scottish guy talking. That accent gets me, not English accent, they are too soft and too feminine sound, Australian accent is too country and lazy. Chris told me we can go to Scotland someday but I am not allow to talk to any guys, just to look. Dang it! But he wants to go to Sweden on the way back so he can have his fantasy with looking at the women over there. So it will be a funny trip if we ever make it there.
Anyway, I better get back to reality and finish my project.......

I am 31 now!

August 12th, this day has been very special day for me, not only it is my birthday but it is also my parents wedding anniversary. And few years back Chris and I made it more special to have our own wedding on this day. So it is also our wedding anniversary, too.
I am not afraid to get old even I was a kid, I was always excited to get old. I feel there is more to learn, experience as I get older and I am looking forward for all the exciting adventures waiting for me. So turning 31 is actually kinda exciting....! I am exciting for my 30s. I started early to be very independent. I was 15 years old when I left my parents house, to go to another country to learn everything new from scratch. Then I got married when I was 22.....(well I wish I waited a little longer this part..but oh well!) and had two beautiful girls by age 28. So to me, hard part is kind of over (the part to start a family), no sweat looking for a perfect man, or worry about my clock ticking to have some babies. I have been desperate to find out what to do with my talent or find out my purpose in life past a couple of years, but I am coming in peace with this lately.
Maybe because I am going back to school which made me confident to staying in the path I want to take to next level. Maybe because I kind of know something new and exciting will happen in my 30's. I don't know I am just so excited!
I am so happy to have such a wonderful circle of friends and family who celebrated my birthday with me yesterday! My man Chris and girls baked me a cake a night before, it was yummy yummy. And they got me cards and a champagne. And I got phone calls, e-mails, hand made cards and another yummy desert from friends. Nothing big happened, but it was nice quiet happy day yesterday. Thank you to all my friends who wished me happy birthday, it meant so much to me! I love you all.

Mommy will be off duty on this Saturday

2 more days until book called "Breaking Dawn" is coming out!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait....!! It is the final book to Twilight series that I got hooked reading since a couple weeks ago. Past 2 weeks, my mind has been out there, couldn't focus on anything really, I am just waiting. So I already told Chris I am not doing anything on Saturday, I do not want to be bothered by anybody, so he needs to take care of kids and take them away from me for a day. I really want to go to book store on Friday night, because it is coming out at 12:01 am, but I don't know if I want to wait in line to buy a book with bunch of people at midnight....but I am planing to get up early to go get a book! I know it sounds so crazy and childish, but I just can't get my mind out of these books.
And I did something new today. I went to check out design school and enrolled myself to start taking some classes. It just happened so quickly that I decided to go back to school, so I haven't really got the grip on thoughts of going back to school yet. I will be going to International Academy of Design & Technology, will be studying Fashion Design and Marketing. I will be taking 2 evening classes a week, so it won't be too bad and enough to keep me busy with project. The environment is just like "Project Runway" show, and it is so exciting!!!! I will be creating my own line of kids clothing and make millions in the future!!! (Well I can hope) I already pick the name for my brands. I am really excited, finally I am going back to school and learn only about what I really want to learn. I don't have to worry about academics, which I don't do that well. Just being around creative people and that feeling of being in studio is awesome and can't wait to start the classes!! I will be posting about my projects on the way when I start school, so stay tuned!

I am blogging...?!

So, my evil dear friend Susan made me signed up for Facebook, Myspace, and now blogging.....love you Suse!! Well she didn't twist my arm to start any of it, and I have to admit, I am having some benefits of finding old friends from all those sites. But I wasn't sure about blogging....
Because I am a lazy journal writer, even I was a small girl, it only lasted about a week, the longest, to keep up with writing a journal. So even I start this blog now, don't expect me to update everyday, or every week or......we will see.
To start off my first blog, I will talk about what I have been doing past week. I have been reorganizing my house. I have a room all to myself now, (well kind of) and I turned our guest room to a toy room since we never have a guest to stay with us, and I rearranged my girls room. And I put some effort to make my studio to my liking without spending a lot of money. I just finished making pin boards out of hand-me-down picture frames, so I can start pinning my inspirations, and made a photo hangers so I can look at good old days with pictures of my favorite people. I love my studio now, make me feel so free to be here all by myself and that is exactly what I need right now, FREEDOM. I love it, I stay up almost everyday until 3 in the morning in this room to be all by myself. I LOVE IT!!!!!

I used to share a front room as my studio and kid's play room until last week, and all the mess and size of room were starting to drive me nuts. Well I organized their new toy room today. And as you see, they are hard at work making a mess again. Oh well at least I can shut the door and forget about the mess if I want to for a while.

I love my girls bed room. Most of our furniture in this house are hand-me-downs because we had to sell most of our own when we moved from Hawaii. So Chris's mom got everything ready for us when we moved here. We are so thankful for it but it is sometimes hard to figure out how to make functional the way I like it with the stuff I didn't picture at first. But finally I figured out the perfect room for my girls after 4 or 5 rearranging. We call it a Pink Room. I don't think picture can't show all the effort and love I put in this room, I wish all of you who read this to come visit this room and give me a compliment!!! Just kidding, but I really like this room. I wish I had a room like this when I was a kid! I swear this room looks better than this picture.....!

I use my kids to express my passion for art or style or whatever I desire to have. I try to give them the best of style that I like (clothing especially) and satisfy my needs to express the passion. I am dreading the day, girls grow up and start protesting with my style and start hanging a poster of Hanna Montana type of shit. Then I will start having a hissy fits like a mad woman....oh wait I already do that!!
